At Fen Zen, we strive to create an unforgettable experience for our guests, providing a platform for networking and learning in a fun and engaging environment.
Founded in 2019, Fen Zen began with a simple vision: to create the kind of supportive, nurturing space we needed ourselves. Starting small in the heart of the Fens, we’ve grown into a thriving hub for community, nature connection, and skill-sharing.
Over the years, Fen Zen has become a trusted place where people come together, learn from one another, and feel a true sense of belonging. Our journey is still unfolding — and every person who joins us becomes part of that story.

Seasonal earth-based practice at Fen Zen
Being Human is a year-long series of seasonal, outdoor gatherings for adults who want to slow down, reconnect with the land, and relearn simple, practical ways of being human together.
Shaped by the seasons, the land, and the pace of the group, sessions take place outdoors in all weathers. We cook and eat together over the fire using local and foraged produce, and learn through shared, hands-on practice rather than instruction or outcomes.
This series focuses on simple, earth-based skills — such as fire, food, water, tools, shelter, and tending — while building resilience, belonging, and confidence over time. It is not about mastering skills, but about remembering through practice.
No prior experience is needed. Come with curiosity, openness, and a willingness to move at a slower, more human pace.

Meet as our ancestors did,... together, around a fire, connecting with other families in nature. Connection with the Earth and each other, connection to our lineage, to the Ancient ways, to how we have always lived, as a village raising our children together around a fire, weaving, singing, offering our thanks to Mother Earth.
Offered as a monthly session alongside the Celtic calendar, we invite you to step back into these traditional practices, welcome home.

Earth-based sessions helping children reconnect with self, land, ancestry and lost skills for resilience, belonging and purpose.
Our event series is designed as a gentle unfolding — each gathering deepening children’s connection with nature, ancestry, craft, and themselves. Children are welcome to join any single session, but together they form a powerful seasonal journey of remembering. These events are educational, we learn together and cover all aspects of the national curriculum without using traditional classroom style lessons. 10.30am to 2.30pm
We guide children (and families) into rich, hands-on experiences that awaken curiosity, confidence, and belonging. Through land-based skills, sensory exploration, and ancestral learning, participants discover:

Our Monthly Women's Circle. A chance for you to be heard, and listen, in circle. A chance for socialising, support, and down time, meeting with friends, and friends to be. Charged as a donation (suggested £3) Please car share if possible. Follow link to book your space.

A Blessingway is a traditional ceremony created to support , empower and spiritually prepare the new mother for her journey of birthing and motherhood. Gathering in circle with your special female friends to celebrate your fertility and power and blessing the upcoming birth with prayers and positive intentions.
A Blessingway is all about nurturing and connecting heart to heart with the mother. Filling her cup so it overflows with love and confidence as she awaits the impending birth of her baby. She’s so much more than a vessel to bring a baby into this world. She’s a woman becoming a mother.
Historically, a Blessingway is an old Navajo (native American) ceremony, which celebrates a woman’s rite of passage into motherhood.
The westernised version of this is the ‘Mother Blessing.’
