Volunteer Days!
We have a thriving and welcoming community of volunteers here at Fen Zen. Our regular volunteer days offer a chance to get involved in meaningful, hands-on work—whatever your background or skill level. Everyone is welcome; no experience is needed, just a willingness to get stuck in.
For businesses and organisations, we also offer bespoke corporate volunteering and team-building days. These provide a rewarding opportunity to step away from the workplace, connect with nature, and contribute to a shared, positive impact. It’s a powerful way to support staff wellbeing, strengthen team relationships, and enhance your organisation’s environmental and social responsibility.
Previous volunteer days have included activities such as building a new chicken run, creating a mud kitchen, painting signs, mowing grass paths, planting trees, and pruning hedges—there is always something exciting and purposeful to be part of.
We provide all necessary safety equipment, along with refreshments and sometimes a nourishing campfire lunch. Please come dressed for the outdoors, with suitable clothing and footwear, as our site is beautifully wild.
